Susquehanna Chorale - Adult Audition Schedule:

The Susquehanna Chorale is an advanced adult chamber choir comprised of all volunteer singers. 

Participation in the Susquehanna Chorale is determined by a live audition with conductor Linda L. Tedford. Interested adults are encouraged and invited to schedule an audition appointment.

Auditions are held annually in June for the upcoming season. Audition dates are announced in January

The concert season runs from September-August.

June 10, 2024 - 5:30-8:30pm

June 17, 2024 - 5:30-8:30pm

Auditions for the Susquehanna Chorale (age 18 and older) for 2024 are available by appointment only.

Weekly Monday rehearsals begin the second full week of September.  

Concert performances are scheduled for 

 November 24, December 13-15, May 16-18 and August (TBD).

Audition Requirements

- Previous singing experience (preferably choral).

- Two prepared pieces (one in a foreign language if possible).

- Sight singing

- Availability for rehearsals & performances

You are encouraged to listen to/watch recordings of the Chorale before auditioning.

Singers should prepare two selections that demonstrate their vocal performance abilities and presentation (i.e. posture, expression, tone, and range). Auditions should be performed with an accompanist. If you do not have an accompanist, one will be provided for you.
