  • How do I get tickets?
Tickets to Susquehanna Chorale Youth, Christmas, and Spring performances, at all venues, are available through the Messiah College Box Office, by phone or in person. Tickets can also be ordered on our website under the Events tab, which will redirect you to the Messiah College Box Office page. Pre-concert ticket sales begin on Aug. 1 for the current concert season, and end at 3pm on the Friday before a performance, or when the performance is sold out. If available, tickets are sold at the door at each concert venue beginning one hour before the performance. Will call services are provided at each concert venue, beginning one hour prior to performances.
  • Where can I park?
Free and accessible parking is available at all Susquehanna Chorale concerts. Most venues have an adjacent parking lot. Calvin and Janet High Center for Worship and Performing Arts (Parmer Hall) at Messiah University has multiple parking lots adjacent to the auditorium. Derry Presbyterian Church: 148 available spaces in main lot and small overflow lot across the street. Additional on-street parking available. Market Square Presbyterian Church (downtown Harrisburg): parking is available in the adjoining Market Square Garage. Market Square Presbyterian Church will validate parking passes at the event by request, so there is no additional parking cost for patrons of the Chorale. The Leffler Chapel and Performance Center at Elizabethtown College has several adjacent parking lots with overflow parking available across College Avenue from Lake Placida (Kiwanis Blvd).
  • What should I wear?
At our concerts, you will see a variety of attire. Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable - just come! As a courtesy to our singers and patrons with fragrance allergies, the use of strong perfume or cologne is discouraged.
  • May I bring my children to the Chorale's concerts?
We want to share the beauty of the choral art with all. Children who would appreciate the concert experience and our repertoire are welcome to attend. Please keep in mind that most of our concerts are held in the evening and last for 90-120 minutes with intermission. Children should be capable of sitting quietly for this amount of time.
  • How early should I arrive? What happens if I am late?
Doors open 30-minutes prior to performances. We encourage patrons to arrive early and allow ample time to find their seats. On-site ticket sales and will call services open 1-hour prior to performances. Some of our performances feature a guest musical artist in a pre-concert recital, beginning 15-minutes before the concert start time. Be sure to watch our website and concert notices for information on these special performances. Once the music starts, the doors to the concert hall will be closed. We ask that any late-arriving patrons wait until an appropriate break in the music to enter the hall and take their seats.
  • Are Susquehanna Chorale concerts accessible to those with physical disabilities?
Yes! Seating for patrons who use wheelchairs is available at all Susquehanna Chorale concert venues. Accessible restrooms are available at all concert venues. At venues that require patrons to move about on more than one floor, accessible ramps and/or elevators are available.
  • Can I record or photograph the concerts?
No. The use of cameras and audio recorders is strictly prohibited at Susquehanna Chorale performances. If you wish to enjoy our music after the performance, visit our recordings page to purchase one of our professional recordings.
